Sometimes things happen for a reason, mom hadn't really been happy at her previous job for a long time, so this unexpected loosing of the job was just the push mom needed to get out there and start new. A new job, in a new town, in a new state, with a new car and new apt!So the boys and I through mom a best wishes party.
Not a good-bye party because we are still going to see her!
Just 2 weeks on the new job and they already love her! She feel right into step, but of course!
And she found her new apt. Just down the street from her friend David, who was awesome enough to tell mom about this job opening and letter her stay with him till she got her own place, and only 10 mins to her office. No more long traffic filled commutes on 93. And in VA there will be no more scary winter weather drives or shoveling tons of snow, as well as better health weather.
Fortunately Alexandria is only and 8hr drive from Boston. Which is a ways, but doable. She will be missed, but now we have a new place to visit! And she is only minutes away from DC so there is lots to do.
I think we all has a good time and mom is doing great!
